Fort Worth Zoo Trip

On Saturday we went to the Zoo with a bunch of family! It was a BLAST!!! Here is who went with us: Grandma June, Aunt Brenda, Malachi (5), Jennifer, Kayla (22 months), Aunt Nancy, Little David (2), Aunt Linda, Gary, April, Addison (4), and Luke (15 months).

Corbin was so excited to be there that he hopped around most of the day. He was telling everyone about the animals. He said that Lions and Tigers are 'Wild Animals". He told us that the Meerkats live under the ground and eat worms. When Malachi told him that the calf at the petting zoo would eat his hand Corbin said "No, cows eat cubes" the Zoo keeper said "That’s right, and grass" then Corbin said "and hay." He is so smart! Caura had fun riding in the stroller, playing with her cousins, and watching the birds and fish. She even walked part of the way! We saw and heard the lion’s roar, Corbin was mesmerized and I have to admit that it made my heart skip a beat. It was amazing! If we lived closer we would go to the Zoo every month, or more! I love watching Corbin and Caura just look at things. You can almost hear their gears turning! They are at such a great age and Corbin was telling Caura about the animals and pointing them out to her! He is a good big brother. Chris did not get to go. He had to work and he needed to study. He is taking four classes this semester. I will post more pictures and hopefully some video soon.
