We woke up this morning to the sound of falling sleet. I had a funny feeling that my plans for the day may have been ruined! Chris texted me at 8 saying that the roads were bad. Corbin and I looked outside and all we saw was SNOW! Ok so for most people this is no surprise on Christmas Eve but since it was like 65 degrees here yesterday and now I could barely load the car without freezing my fingers off, I was a bit surprised. I was determined though because I heard that there was not much ice dust dry snow. So I continued to load the car and get the kids in their Christmas clothes so that we could go to Harry and Betty's house for lunch and presents. At 10 I called Chris and he grounded me. He said that he had already worked too many accidents and he didn't need the next one to be ours. Since we were still bundled up we went outside and played for a little bit. Caura missed out because I guess all the packing wore her out, she is sleeping warm in her bed! Here are some pictures of Corbin in the snow.
